George Brauchler with his family

George Brauchler was born and raised right here in Colorado. Growing up in Lakewood, George learned the importance of rolling up his sleeves and putting in the hard work. George continues to serve as a Colonel in the Colorado Army National Guard and is proud of the work he does supporting veterans across the country. George has always stood strong for victims’ rights and will ensure Coloradans can thrive in safe communities.

Throughout his career, he has represented our country and our state while keeping our families safe.

George has worn many different hats including serving as Deputy District Attorney, Special Assistant U.S. Attorney, military prosecutor, criminal defense attorney, military defense attorney, and the Chief of Military Justice for Fort Carson, the 4th Infantry Division, and the U.S. Division North in Tikrit, Iraq.

That’s what pushed him into becoming a prosecutor for some of the most high-profile cases in our state.

George prosecuted the Aurora Theatre Massacre, STEM shooting, and Columbine cases and continues to serve as a Colonel in the Colorado National Guard.

George’s unmatched experience in and out of the courtroom make him one of the most sought-after legal experts around.

George has appeared in documentaries, news programs, and has provided commentary on CNN, Fox News, NBC, Court TV, and every local television station. He lives in Douglas County, Colorado with his family.
